A rebozo is a long hand-woven scarf made by women for women. Women in Central America have used the rebozo in many different ways for generations such as, carrying a baby, carrying groceries, giving comfort during pregnancy, labor and birth, and even to this day some women are presented with a rebozo by their mother on their wedding day to mark passage from maiden to wife. In this class you will learn from Cynthia Billiar, Rebozo Certified, trained by Gena Kirby (birth professional expert and speaker) how you and your partner can use your rebozo to bring comfort during pregnancy, labor and birth.
The Rebozo class is free. Pre-registration is required. There is a maximum of 8 students per class. Class is held at Educated Mommy, 2122 S Spring Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57105.
