A rebozo is a long scarf that is traditionally used by women in Mexico and throughout Central America. The rebozo is used not only for covering one’s head and shoulders for weather and sun protection but also for infant care. Babies are securely wrapped in it and carried around wrapped against their mothers. The rebozo is also used during labor to help provide women with natural, drug-free relief from pain and make the birthing process easier.
Our rebozos are made by women in Mexico and Guatemala. The Mexican rebozos are 10 feet long by 2 feet wide and the Guatemalan rebozos are 110 inches long by 18 inches wide. Since every rebozos is unique, quantities of colors and patterns are limited and choice of a specific pattern/color is not available.
Each rebozo is $50.00 plus shipping.
Please note, our stock of rebozos is constantly changing so we cannot guarantee specific colors when you order. However please enter your desired color choice(s) in the field provided when checking out and we will do our best to match it with what we have in our available stock.
